Yesterday we finally had Daniel's friends birthday party. Since I really do not know where too many things are in the city, we decided to stay in our complex for the party. Daniel had 5 boys over. From 2-3pm (or 14:00 - 15:00 here in China) they played badminton on the indoor court at the club house. They had fun.

After badminton we went back to the apartment for cake. Actually it was a Chocolate Chip Cookie "pizza". Daniel has always liked these. My friend, Tracy, has a cake business here. She brings back most of the ingredients from the States, as you can not find a lot of it here. Anyway, I ordered 2 so we could have left overs! We also bought a half gallon of Breyers ice cream. Huge hit since both are hard to come by and very expensive.

After cake and presents, the boys went down to the playground to play. They loved just being able to play. On the playground today was mostly English speaking children!

Daniel had a very good day. His friend, Kevin, slept over because his parents had to go out of town. If he didn't sleep over Kevin would not have been able to come. He is a very nice boy, so it was no problem.
