China - Day 78, Wednesday

 Been here 11 weeks!

Yesterday was fun, Veronica and I went to the Flower market in Puxi. If you remember, a couple of weeks ago, Randy went to the Flower Market in Pudong. I wanted to get some more flowers. I am hoping that having more plants around might help with cleaning up the air a bit. I am tired of cleaning the floor and by the next day my feet are dirty after walking on it!

Anyway, there are many flower and plant vendors at the Flower Market. They also had little knick-knack shops, plus a Halloween decoration store. I bought 2 felt pumpkins to hang on the door and a skeleton, plus a bag for Daniel to go Trick-or-Treating with (will talk more about this on Halloween).

One row of booths. To the right is a lemon tree.

Cactus and lots of green plants

Orchids

Fresh Cut flowers
More fresh cut flowers. That's Veronica.

Veronica and more plants!
This is one plant I bought, love the pot.
Another plant I bought. This one has pink lines (they
look white in the picture)
This plant loks big but is is only about 9" tall. I
bought thos for my kitchen window sill.
I love Orchids. We will probably by more before too
long!
This plant stays outside all year. I also believe that
it flowers like this. It is a hot pink color.
I put this plant on the balcony. I also put Daniel next to
it so you could see the size. I only paid $10 for it!

Outside plants

Afterwards, Veronica, Richard and I went to lunch at an Indian Restaurant. One of my sauces was very spicy - so Richard ate it (Shanghainese love spicy food)
