Our furniture arrived today! It is a lot bigger than it seemed in the showroom. It is very white and leather. Something I would not have chosen at home, but the best I could do here. It took the movers no time at all to bring it in and set it up. I think they were here under 15 minutes. What a difference sitting and watching TV.

Daniel started soccer today. I felt bad though, because I messed up on the time and we got there late. Today was assessments: to see what his skill level is. He missed out on the first round of games. So it took him a little bit to warm up, but after a few minutes he was right in there. We signed him up for non-competitive league, since we are not in Westfield any more. There are kids from all over the world, coming from countries who take soccer a lot more seriously than the US. I figured this year he could just play for fun. If he wants competitive next year, we will look into it. I am going to have to go look for soccer chairs this week. I have some at home, but I didn't ship them. That will be one of my errands this week. Randy volunteered to help coach. They only play on Sunday afternoons and no practices. If there were practices, then Randy would not be able to help. That is probably why there are no practices, because all the dad's here are working the same kind of hours that Randy is. The season runs until Nov 27.
Daniel went outside and played on the playground right outside our apartment. The weather was beautiful. He played with a bunch of boys, about half spoke English. He was out there for hours. Finally he is starting to feel comfortable.
Amy made it home safe and sound. Now she has to work on getting over the jet lag before classes begin on Tuesday!
