Our next stop was Sam's Club (Walmart's version of BJ's or Costco). It opened recently here in Shanghai. I was hoping to find more imported items. Was not impressed, so I will not be shopping there again.
We then headed to the school. Ms. Lau's class was having their first Publisher Day. The children have all been writing stories and today they read them to us. It was very sweet. They also played some math games with us and then did a dance, called "Jungle Rhythm". The kids were so excited to have us there.
On the way home I had to stop by Metro to buy some food. Metro carries a lot of imported items, but it is hit or miss with the items. Today I did not do well, some of the items I went there for were gone. Who knows when they will get them again. My friend, Veronica, told me that if you see something in a store that you use, buy it then and there (and buy multiples) because you have no idea when or if they will get it again.
